      Description

      Rationale

Currently no testsuite has tests covering all the syscalls implemented on at least arm and arm64 which means that efforts to do ongoing testing to ensure that we don't break the ABI have some coverage gaps. Since LTP currently has a reasonable degree of coverage for syscalls and is quite widely used it provides a good place to start trying to address this coverage gap.

Review the current coverage in LTP for both arm and arm64 and then work to add tests for the gaps identified.

      Deliverables

Google identified a short list of syscalls they wish to have ready. The items to address first are:

      List of pending stories

      io_uring

      time64

      List of finished stories

Delivery date for this work is March 21st, 2020

Due to the varying degrees of difficulty and upstreaming , there is an inherent risk in having the work done by a specific deadline. Therefore, no deadline guarantee can be provided.
