Rationale

There is a need for a standard and simple way to configure hypervisors for static scenarios, i.e. for situations where the number of VMs is known beforehand.

System device tree is adding a standard specification to configure static hypervisors via device tree. It allows for a static boot time configuration of a hypervisor like Xen with dom0 and multiple other
virtual machines, device assignment, etc.

• System Device Tree specifications changes
• Xen as a reference implementation
